SHANGRI-LA. Shangri-La tells the stories of two volunteer masseurs at the Shangri-La Massage and Rest Area. Nick and Harmony work with their hands and hearts to heal the aches and pains, cares and troubles of exhausted festival-goers at the 2005/06 Woodford Folk Festival. This highly experimental film explores the relationship between place and memory as experienced by architect James Davidson, for whom the memory of the many metropolises he has visited around the globe merge as one in his mind's eye.
