The Loft is located on Level 5, Z2 at QUT's new Creative Industries Precinct in Kelvin Grove. Seating capacity is 100 per session. Our volunteers will make every attempt to seat late-comers during the breaks between films in the sessions. Reservations can be made by emailing reservations or by calling the OWaB Hotline on 0431 841 883. Please advise us if you require assistance or have special needs. We suggest that you reserve a seat to avoid disappointment. Please also note that all booked tickets must be collected from the ticket office 15-minutes before the session start time.

Where are we?

The Loft is located on Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove, which is part of the Creative Industries Precinct (CIP) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

The 'CIP'

Getting to OWaB:

Bus routes 380 (The Gap) and 390 (Brookside) go by the QUT CIP regularly and leave from Stop 39 and 40 respectively in Adelaide Street, Brisbane City and come close to the QUT CIP at Northbound stop 7 or City Bound stop 7/5. A free BCC shuttle is available to staff and students of QUT between the Gardens Point campus and CIP, Kelvin Grove. This bus departs every 15 minutes at the corner of George and Alice Streets just outside the Botanic Gardens. More info is available at www.transinfo.qld.gov.au.

If you are driving to and parking at CIP, B and C Zones are allocated for staff and students with a parking permit between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, or as signposted. Parking permits/tickets are required in all other areas at all times unless otherwise signposted. For afternoon sessions we suggest parking on Victoria Street or Lower Clifton Terrace. Alternatively, there is a Pay & Display car park located at the nearby Kelvin Grove Campus. For evening sessions, there is free street parking available on any of the streets surrounding the venue e.g.: Musk Avenue, Blamey Street, School Street, Carraway Street, Ramsgate Street and Victoria Park Road.

A Black & White Taxi free telephone is located in the foyer of the La Boite Theatre in "The Works" Building. There is a level access drop off point next to the theatre in Gona Parade.

The Creative Industries Precinct is 20 minutes walking distance from the city and even less by bicycle!

Picking up Tickets:

When you arrive at CIP, please proceed to the OWaB Ticket Office located on Level 4 of Building Z2 (The Loft).

Refreshments:

Food and beverages are available during afternoon and evening sessions from the crEATe Cafe located on the Ground Level of "The Works" at the Creative Industries Precinct.
